Founded in 2016 in Paramus, New Jersey, by seven enlightened and courageous men, Phi Psi Lambda Leadership Society Incorporated is the first Greek-lettered leadership organization that is dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of men from populations that are underrepresented in higher education. Our members are impactful and influential leaders.
Phi Psi Lambda Leadership Society offers a clear path for individuals who are committed to pursuing it. An experienced and proven path that was forged through essential challenges. The pavement; crafted and constructed through dedication and determination. The inception of this esteemed leadership society originated when Founder Damyen Davis crossed paths with six outstanding male students, Juan Hurtado, Jordan Posada, Fernando Senchi, Tristan Anderson, Elisha Phillips, and Justin Anderson--all of whom possessed unique and diverse qualities that exemplified leadership. Through this alliance, the inaugural generation line, and the group of seven individuals collectively established themselves as the founding members of Phi Psi Lambda Leadership Society.
Over the years, Phi Psi Lambda Leadership Society has experienced significant growth and become a source of inspiration for men-of-color across the country. With its extensive range of programs and initiatives, the society consistently supports and prepares its members to become effective leaders in diverse areas of influence.
In addition, Phi Psi Lambda Leadership Society places a strong emphasis on personal development and actively encourages involvement in the community and service initiatives. Individuals within the society are highly engaged in philanthropic endeavors, community outreach programs, and mentorship opportunities, which allows the society to make a positive impact that reaches far beyond its own membership.
Ultimately, Phi Psi Lambda Leadership Society serves as a powerful example of the impact that can be achieved through a shared vision and collaborative work.
